Shih Tzu and Bichons are great for families with children.  Bichons are typically friendly, happy, and forgiving.  Shih Tzu tend to be a bit more independent (they don't need to be touching someone all the time), but they're still sweet.  But, of course, each dog has its own personality.  Both breeds are considered “non-shedding,” though they will lose hair just like people.  Their hair will need to be cut about every 2 months to avoid mats if you don't want to spend a lot of time grooming.

Before going to its new home, your puppy will be socialized with kids, have multiple grooming sessions, be fed quality food, have a visit to the vet for a health exam and first immunization, and have a good start on potty training… though some puppies “get it” a little more quickly than others… just like kids 🙂

We strive to provide healthy, beautiful puppies for your family.  Quality breeding is so much more than just taking any two dogs and putting them together.  We put a lot of time and thought into selecting which dogs to keep as our mommas and daddies.  Often, this means re-homing an older puppy that we had planned on keeping, so occasionally we have older puppies or adults available.
